IOP 3-Minute-Wonder London and South East Heat winner!

13/04/2024

On Wednesday 10th April, I competed in the Institute of Physics 3-Minute-Wonder competition (mentioned in my previous blog post). With the help of mini-eggs and popcorn, I gave a talk about my research, "Can a quantum demon reverse time's arrow?". I'm excited to have won the heat and be competing in the Grand Final at the Royal Institution on 29th May. Come along!

The Heat, at the IOP London offices, was a fun evening of talks about a complete range of physics topics. The event was a great chance to learn from other science communicators; get feedback from expert judges; and meet an engaged audience curious about the frontiers of physics.

Come along and watch all me and the other regional winners compete in the Grand Final! It's on Wednesday 29th May at the Royal Institution in London, with drinks from 6pm and the talks from 6:30pm. The event is free, and you can book a place here

Looking forward to presenting, learning more physics, and connecting with more communicators and public at the final!
