Competing in IOP 3-Minute-Wonder London Heat

I found out today that I've been selected to take part in the IOP's 3-Minute-Wonder science communication competition. The UK and Ireland-wide competition challenges people working in physics and physics-related fields to explain their work in 3 minutes to the general public.

For the London and South East branch heat on Wednesday 10th April 6:30pm, 10 participants will present, at the IOP offices on Caledonian Road in London. If you want to join the audience for the heats, you can book a place on the webpage. 

I'm looking forward to presenting about my research and watching the other talks, do come along to the event if you are in London and interested to hear about a range of physics topics!
